Recently I got a very lovely email from the team at Ulster Tatler Magazine to let me know that I had been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year in their Influential Women Awards 2022.
The Awards Ceremony was held at the Ulster Reform Club which is a prestigious club for the elite business people in the heart of Belfast City Centre.
To say I was excited would be the understatement of the century! Then in a twist of fate, my darling husband surprised me with a week away in the sun and of course in my typical style, the two overlapped.
So off my mum and her friend Fiona went to the award ceremony in their fancy clothes to represent me in my absence. I tried not to get too excited about it as the other shortlisted candidates were AMAZING.
You can imagine my absolute shock when I got a call from my mum to tell me that I'd only gone and WON!
I am so shocked and delighted that the judges felt that I was worthy of such an prestigious award.
